Why would you name your store "Nerdy Duckling"?

Everybody knows the story of the ugly duckling, but the story of the Nerdy Duckling is an interesting story as well. Like the ugly duckling, the nerdy duckling was born....a little different. The nerdy duckling felt like a less important person in their younger days. As the ugly duckling grew up, it became beautiful and accepted. As the nerdy duckling grew up, it bloomed into a deep, well developed, motivated, successful person.

Personally, I am a Nerdy Duckling. I used to be some dorky, nerdy girl. I was just "that girl in honors classes." The summer after my sophomore year, I found my swan. I quit worrying about people's opinions of me. I found my true self. I became confident, secure, motivated and overall, happy with my life. I have a ton of great, close friends who love for who I am.

If you are any sterotype, nerdy or not, you should be happy with yourself. Nerdy Duckling T-shirts are all about accepting and appreciating who we all really are. If you're a ditzy blonde, let everybody know that you have more fun that way. If you're a nerd, let everybody know that you are smart enough to do whatever you want. If you're a dork, don't apoligize to anyone for the way you act. No matter what you are like now, you can bloom into anything you want.
